Terms of Service — CorVali

2. Use of the service

You may use CorVali-powered booking and WhatsApp communication for personal wellness appointments. You must not submit false information or misuse the booking system.

3. Data handling & POPIA

CorVali processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. For full detail on your rights, retention periods, and how to exercise those rights, see our Data & Privacy Rights page.

4. Cross-border data transfers

CorVali uses Supabase (United States / European Union), Anthropic (United States), and Meta Platforms (United States) to deliver the service. Personal data is transferred to these processors outside South Africa under appropriate safeguards.

5. WhatsApp messaging consent

By engaging with the CorVali WhatsApp booking assistant, you consent to receiving appointment-related messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

6. CorVali Wallet credit & gift cards

The CorVali Wallet is a closed-loop store of value. Wallet credit can be used only to pay for treatments, products and extras offered through the CorVali platform. It is not money, not a bank deposit, and not redeemable for cash, and is not refundable to a bank card except where South African law requires.

Wallet-first at checkout. Where you hold available Wallet credit, it is applied first to reduce the amount payable by card, EFT or cash. Soonest-to-expire credit is used first to protect you from avoidable forfeiture.

Validity. Credit you purchase (wallet top-ups and gift cards) does not expire for at least three (3) years, in line with section 63 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Credit you did not purchase (e.g. cancellation credit, promotional, referral, goodwill or bonus credit) is a contractual concession and may expire 12 months from the date it was last used or issued, or as otherwise stated when granted. Expiry dates are shown in your Wallet.

Deposits, cancellations & no-shows. Bookings may require a deposit. On a cancellation within the allowed window, the deposit is credited to your Wallet for rebooking. A reasonable cancellation charge may apply to a late cancellation or no-show (section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act). Refunds required by law are honoured regardless of the no-cash-out rule above.

Fraud. Except where prohibited by law, CorVali may refuse, void, cancel, reject or hold for review any Wallet credit issued in an incorrect denomination, or issued or obtained, directly or indirectly, in connection with fraudulent actions, fraudulent claims, promotion or compensation abuse, or any violation of these terms. Customer Wallet funds are held separately from CorVali's operating funds.

7. Your POPIA rights

Data subjects have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of their personal information, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (www.inforegulator.org.za).

8. Limitation of liability

CorVali provides this platform in good faith. We are not liable for service disruptions, third-party failures, or losses arising from force majeure events.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
